But because the workpiece was too small, the vitrified CBN grinding discs he originally purchased had gaps, which would wear into the workpiece to some extent and cause damage to the workpiece. In order to solve this problem, he consulted Moresuperhard our grinding engineers. After thoroughly understanding the customer's processing situation and needs, we recommended a resin CBN grinding disc (255-35-50.8-5 180#) for the customer. After the communication, the customer decided to purchase several resin CBN grinding discs for trial.

After testing for a period of time, the customer gave feedback that the grinding discs had the right sharpness and good cutting power. However, during the test, he found that the resin CBN grinding discs were less durable and the consumption rate was a little faster than before. After further communication with Moresuperhard's grinding engineer, we decided to adapt the product to the customer's processing conditions. In response to the problem of fast abrasive, our engineer decided to add nickel plating to the bonding agent to increase the hardness of the grinding wheel and thus the wear resistance after full communication with the customer. At present, the new product has been put into use, and the specific use experience still need to wait for the user feedback.
