The importance of selecting diamond abrasive for making diamond grinding wheel

Diamond is the main abrasive of superhard materials, and raw materials are generally crushed, purified, sieved and other processes, which can divide diamond into different grades.

                                              

Diamond particle size and its crystal type determine its use, crushed material is generally used for coarse grinding, and micro powder is generally used for fine grinding, for example, 270/325 rough grinding - 325/400 medium grinding - W20 fine grinding. That is to say, the fine particle size is generally used for fine grinding, there is a requirement of finish, and the requirement of material roundness, good concentration, the material should have a thickness, if the material is mixed with thin material, the pressing of the grinding wheel will cause the uneven density of the wheel, which will produce a diagonal type of crack, the customer in the process of using the grinding wheel processing workpiece, the crack will be easy to fracture, causing accidents.

                                          

The cause of the thinness of some materials in the micronized powder is generally related to the time of dressing, and the thinness in the micronized powder can be removed by adding a water washing process after dressing. If there are large particles in the micronized powder, it will cause scratches on the workpiece and make the previous processes of rough grinding and medium grinding to be abandoned. Micro powder in the large particles can be in the ball mill for micro-grinding to remove the needle-like particles, but also can be manually hand sieved to remove the long particles. However, particle size less than W10 requires equipment for selection, so whether it is diamond processing or super hard grinding wheel production, fine particle size material is difficult.
