United Grinding China exhibited with BLOHM PLANOMAT XT, STUDER S31, WALTER HELICHECK PLUS and HELITRONIC VISION 400 L. The new generation of machine tools from United Grinding Group was presented at the exhibition.
The PLANOMAT XT, the new generation of surface profile grinding machines from the United Grinding Group, has been the "hard-core" output of recent trade fairs at home and abroad with its cost-effective and innovative solutions.
The PLANOMAT XT is based on the proven PLANOMAT HP and combines the three grinding processes of reciprocating grinding, slow-feed grinding and high-speed reciprocating grinding, enabling automatic switching of the grinding processes without any intervention. An automatic grinding wheel changer is available as an option, making automated production possible. It realizes cost-effective production while achieving precision machining.
STUDER S31, one of the classic grinding machines of United Grinding Group, is a high-precision universal internal and external grinder that can accurately and reliably complete complex and diverse grinding tasks, and is widely used for grinding and finishing high-precision parts such as machine tool spindles, high-precision molds, internal and external non-circular capstocks, tool shanks, bearings, and spool valves of hydraulic valves, etc. The S31 can be used for the production of parts with center distance up to 1.5 mm.
The S31 can be used to produce small and medium-sized workpieces with center distances of 400mm, 650mm, 1000mm and 1600mm, and center heights of 175mm, and can be used for multi-variety small-lot and single-variety mass production. It can be equipped with both external and internal grinding spindles, and the grinding roundness of the chucked parts is less than 0.4µm.
The artificial granite bed with high rigidity and good thermal stability, the static and dynamic pressure integrated patented guideway, can realize 0.1µm micro-feed, with the B-axis with 0.00005° high resolution, the rotary wheel headstock can efficiently complete the external cylindrical grinding, internal cylindrical grinding and surface grinding in one clamping.
Depending on the application, the S31 can also incorporate a number of functional components, such as the "LaserControl machine-integrated laser process measurement technology", which saves time and improves productivity while ensuring that parts are machined accurately.
The WALTER HELITRONIC VISION 400 L, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, was also one of the grinding machines that attracted the spotlight at the exhibition. It has been accompanying customers for 20 years, and has undergone many product iterations and upgrades during this period, vividly interpreting the way of development of working hand in hand with customers to win together.
The HELITRONIC VISION 400 L utilizes C.O.R.E. technology to produce rotationally symmetrical tools and mass-produced parts with complex geometries with high precision. Tools with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 315 mm, lengths up to 420 mm and maximum weights up to 50 kg can be processed.
Innovative laser profile inspection options, integrated directly into tool grinding and electrolysis machines, allow highly accurate, non-contact measurement of a wide range of tool parameters on cylindrical tools.
United Grinding China has also prepared a special session at this DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Fair - a live demonstration of the HELITRONIC VISION 400 L for grinding CBN ball cage tools.
In the field of measuring machines, the WALTER HELICHECK PLUS, which has always been at the forefront of the industry, remains the highlight of the exhibition.
It is equipped with fixed optics and has no rotating axes. 4 camera systems are complemented by LED light sources. Non-contact measurement ensures lossless application and highly stable measuring results.The HELICHECK PLUS can also be used to record and measure minute geometries on tools. Micro geometries with diameters as small as 0.1 mm can be measured safely and with high repeatability.
HELICHECK PLUS generates tool inspection programs quickly, and the results can be exchanged with the tool grinder via data transfer, resulting in a complete "tool-making-inspection-compensation" solution.
