Moresuperhard’s internal grinding wheels have made it possible to achieve unbelievable increases in performance in many applications. These tools can be made from either fused or sintered ceramic, aluminum oxide and can reduce the grinding forces in the process and are subject to significantly less wear. The result is high stock removal rates combined with significantly improved grinding wheel lifetimes.
Used in bore grinding of inner rings, gears etc., and track grinding of outer rings, steering nuts, etc. It is used to grind the internal surfaces of round parts and as a plunge mode or in transverse mode. Commonly used for de-burring, weld levelling, edge preparation, removal of rolling cracks, cutting runners and raisers, V-grooming and chamfering.
