How to evaluate the performance of superhard double--disc face grinding wheel?

We can evaluate the performance of superhard double--disc face grinding wheel from the following 6 factors:

1. Grinding quality of work-pieces. It includes whether the size, alignment accuracy, surface roughness and grain uniformity of the workpiece can meet the requirements of the process.
2. Grinding efficiency. In general, each workpiece processing a certain amount of time needed to assess, that is, usually referred to the processing beat.
3. Durability and lifespan of grinding disc. Durability refers to the number of pieces that can be processed between cleaning, which is commonly referred to as the dressing cycle; Lifespan refers to the total number of workpiece processed by double-end grinding wheel.
4. Dressing amount. Generally according to each feed 1μm/ time, the use of white corundum block cleaning times.
5. Compensation of grinding wheel for double face grinding. It includes the automatic compensation amount of grinding wheel after each cleaning and the number of workpiece grinding. The workpiece should be compensated 1μm. According to this value, the life of grinding wheel can be assessed.
6. Grinding power. It can be judged by the size of the current of the machine tool during grinding. The current during grinding is very large, which indicates that the load of the spindle during grinding is large. It is easy to lose the original precision of the spindle of the grinding machine under the condition of large load for a long time.
