Moresuperhard provides qualified electroplated bond diamond grinding wheel used for outer arc, chamfering and inner arc grinding of brake pads. And we all know the importance of brake pads in a car, but do you know what types grinding wheels could be used to grind the brake pads ?
Here, you will find the right answer!
What are brake pads?
In most vehicles, they use a braking system which consists of a brake disc, a brake caliper, and also a pair of brake pads in each wheel. Each pad fit in the caliper with each friction material that almost touches the two sides of the brake disc.
Typically, the hydraulic fluid in each caliper will push the brake pad against each side of the rotating brake disc, every time you press the brake pedal. Hence, your vehicle will slow down and stop any time soon.
A brake pad itself is usually worth about 25,000 to 60,000 miles, but possible to go further. Yet this process explained above happens again and again and again, which requires regular tending.
Why qualified disc brake pads in cars is important?
In driving a vehicle, it is really important to maintain the safety of the driver by doing regular checks and tendance on the gear of the machine. For example, the brake system is important to prevent any accident. Therefore, it is important to make qualified
brake pads for car manufacturers and, for us, have a general lore of checking disc brakes routinely.
What are the applications of electroplated bond diamond grinding wheel used for disc brake pads?
Special electroplated diamond wheel for outer arc, chamfering, and inner arc grinding of brake pads. Mainly used for grinding high and hard alloys, non-metallic materials, cutting hard and brittle cemented carbide, non-metallic minerals, etc. High control force has the highest grinding performance, mostly used for rough grinding, with high material removal rate.
Features:
- It has long service life, high hardness, high strength and strong grinding ability.
- Due to the large amount of abrasive grain protrusion, the cutting discharge is excellent, and the cutting force can be maintained continuously.
- High abrasive density, can better maintain the shape of the workpiece.
- Short replacement time, no dressing, long service cycle.
- High working efficiency, saving time, conducive to processing operation
